Chloe Lefroy MA (Cantab) PG Dip MBACP (Accred)
Psychodynamic Psychotherapist
The idea of wanting or needing emotional support may feel daunting, but the experience of receiving it doesn’t have to be.
If this is your first time considering Psychotherapy or Counselling, or you’ve seen a Psychotherapist before, I would like the chance to listen to you.
It can feel extremely difficult opening-up to a stranger, particularly at the beginning, but I hope to build your trust in me to make this easier. In return for your bravery and honesty, I can give you confidentiality without judgement.
Whether you feel anxious, isolated, lost, or depressed. Whether you feel you have so much to say that you don’t know where to start, or wonder if you really have enough to say. If you doubt whether you really ‘need’ therapy, or you worry you don’t feel ‘distressed enough’ to justify the time and expense to yourself. You may have something that you’ve never told anyone before, or you may feel concerned that if you finally open up you won’t know how to turn off the tap of emotions when you need to.
These are all very natural feelings; ones we can work through together as part of your therapeutic experience.
Booking the first session can be the hardest step
Choosing a therapist is a very personal choice, and I hope to help you to trust me and talk openly in the confidential and non-judgmental safe space I provide.
I offer a free ten minute telephone consultation, so that you can decide if I am the right therapist for you.
I am offering online and in-person sessions. My therapy room is in the village of Sonning, near Reading, Berkshire.
I currently offer appointments on weekdays between 09.30 and early afternoon.
I take regular block leave around Christmas (two weeks), Easter (two weeks), and over the Summer (4 weeks).
I have a Frequently Asked Questions page for more general information at a glance.
“When I worked with Chloe, I remember that she was always someone I could turn to for support both personally and professionally. She is easy to talk to because she listens so well and obviously has a great depth of life experience. She has always treated people with respect and care.”
